Your yacht charter Valencia questions, answered
Straight answers on pricing, what's included, group size and departure details before you book your day or sunset outing.
Before you book
Most of the questions we get before a booking come down to three things: how much a charter costs, what's actually included, and how many people can come along. Fair enough — those are the practical pieces you need before picking a date in Valencia.
Below are the questions people usually raise about charters from Marina de València, from boat type and departure point to what happens if the forecast turns against you. If anything here doesn't quite cover your situation, send us a message and we'll answer directly by email.
Yacht charter Valencia questions
What's the price range for a yacht charter in Valencia?
Day charters start from about €450 for a few hours aboard a sailing yacht, rising to around €5,000 for a full day on a large motor yacht. Sunset outings are booked separately. The exact rate depends on the vessel, group size and date, so we confirm it once you send your details.
What's included in the price, and what costs extra?
Every charter includes a skipper and the fuel for the standard route along Malvarrosa and down toward El Saler. Drinks and snacks can be arranged for an extra fee if you request them ahead of departure. Anything outside the standard route, such as a longer run or extra stops, is quoted separately.
Where do your charters depart from?
All boats leave from Marina de València, right in the city. From there, routes run along Malvarrosa beach and down toward El Saler, so you're on the water within minutes of boarding.
Which boat will I actually get — catamaran, sailing yacht or motor yacht?
The fleet includes catamarans, sailing yachts and motor yachts, with the specific vessel confirmed once you book. Each one takes up to 12 guests, so tell us your group size and what you're after — more deck space, more speed or a classic sail — and we'll match you to the right boat.
What's the cancellation policy for bad weather in Valencia?
The skipper makes the safety call before departure, based on wind and sea conditions that day. If conditions aren't safe for the booked route, we offer to move the charter to another date or refund the trip rather than send you out regardless. This decision is made on the day, so keep your contact details current closer to departure.
How far ahead should I book?
We recommend at least 48 hours' notice so we can hold the right vessel and skipper for your dates. Peak weekends and summer evenings fill faster, so earlier requests have more boats to choose from.
